I’d have to check, but finals may have been the first major show this year where cadets didn’t have any 8th or below rankings across the score sheet. Last night they beat Crown in guard, Cavies in visual analysis and brass. They also beat their 2017 finals score, and came within a half point of 2016.

Can't believe it's over... What a fun season. Congratulations SCV. Much respect. Also congrats BD, Bluecoats, Boston, and Mandarins. All of it deserved. Shout out to Crown and Cadets just because I think they deserve one lol...Thanks for all the good conversation everyone, even if it wasn't so positive sometimes. I'm sure we're all gonna miss this :( till next year

Someone may have mentioned this before but... 2018 Cadets closer right at the z pull with that mello line melody... It's so reminiscent of Rocky Point. I think that's so cool. Despite my preferences throughout the season.... this is my favorite show of the season. Cadets man...

I never understood that... I was kept in with the music and the mood it sets. Maybe its something lacking for your taste in visual or.. Something. Either way I always found it interesting that things I love in shows people hate and the other way around.

These three days are about them. What point is there to tear them down more than they have been...jeez. I know so many people marching right now and all they want is for people to see the work they've put in. To appreciate it for what it is. I sure as hell do. Man... I love that disappearing act Boson does at the end... So effective I don't even think it needed an in your face chord, which is.... soooo risky. It pays off so well for them too. They sure know how to tell a story.

watched tonight's show... Cadets please just stop singing... it really doesn't sound good. That's about as negative I'll get on here.. I love Cadets so much but I straight up skip 20 seconds after I hear a voice. They aren't in tune with the brass, the electronic blending with the corps is not good. The brass sounds so fantastic why tf would you do this... oh wait... I think I may know why.. doubt we'll see it next year.

Congrats to all the corps this season as this season is quickly getting close to its end :( I have so many buddies from Texas Tech in all corps from Vanguard to Academy and I'm so proud of all of them. Scores will come out in a bit, but I really only care about how awesome everyone really is this season, my preferences aside. Amazing job to all you crazy kids running around in crazy heat just to make the audience smile, cry, gasp etc.

I feel Beast is like a mashup of Inferno and Relentless with certain musical aspects of It Is. I also think a lot of corps have this sorta formula. As much as I love Crown I think they need to go a different route like SCV or Bluecoats are doing. Doing the same sorta thing nowadays is not the greatest idea anymore IMO. Blue Devils I think are starting to realize this, Blue Knights too. They (BK) went in a sort of different direction, but may not have been the best one. Nonetheless, I think it's more rewarding nowadays for corps to push their own envelope. and find what's working for the judges. Either way all these corps are doing such amazing things. Just a thought.

Yeah that's true... he's at Phantom now right? I was expecting a huge step up in Phantom brass, but I kinda didn't get what I was expecting. Maybe it's just a Blue Knights thing...

last year when I saw BK I was so pleasantly surprised to the quality of their horn line. Videos just don't do them justice...they have one of the most distinct sounds.
