Thought of another one, 2016 Crown finals night. Super clean corps with some of the tightest music and cleanest visuals across the board ever. Just a phenomenal corps.

Crown will not drop a spot to BC. Crown is too clean and BC are too dirty.
BD COULD drop gold to SCV, all depending on their additions and the GE benefits they bring. My hopes are for an SCV ring.

Bluecoats are scoring where they are because the top three are performing better across the captions. It's simple math.
And saying no one will remember BD show but they'll remember this? Give me a break.
I like Jagged Line a lot but it's a rehash of last years formula and the corps is not clean enough to medal. The brass book is far behind the top three, GE is struggling because of the flow of the show, they're having trouble locking in musically, and visually they're very dirty.
And just to stir the pot a bit, SCV is doing more interesting things with electronics and have been since 2015.

Bloo is tighter than they've been all season. EVERYONE is having a great run tonight. If SCV keeps pace I think they'll take the night!

Yeah, if Cadets can clean and push a few captions they could absolutely move up a spot or two.

This show has some fantastic moments and my favorite battery writing of the year (along with BK), but I still don't buy the entire package. The flow feels off. Work on transitions and brass keeping energy up in the high impact moments and Cadets could move up in ranks.

Bloo were the worse offenders of the goo last year in Indy. All three nights it bugged the hell out of me because their tubas are too good to be buried on the big impacts.

Assuming the changes made are incredible, IMHO Crown could mostly likely win gold by winning first place in VA, VP, Brass, MA and with 2 of 4 GE captions, with CG no lower than 5th and percussion no lower than 4th. To pull this many caption wins off would be quite a lift based on where the corps is currently scoring, not to mention how well the other top 3 are performing. Could this happen? I hope so, but realistically it might not.
Regardless of the outcome, I hope the changes made are effective enough for a medal.
If any corps wins 4 sub captions then yes, I think they have a great shot at gold. The rest of the corps would be splitting the difference and 4 subs would probably take it all.

I think BD and SCV's shows are both championship worthy and it will all come down to who has a better run on Saturday night. Last year Bloo had a GE buffer that let them have a sloppy finals run and still win, this year noone has that comfort. Whoever wins gold will have to be firing on all cylinders.
