Welll is it power to them?!  YEA! Folded and Denise Bonfiglio became the CEO….

not sure if hiring Vicki was the right move in my opinion

she always impressed me as someone who would be very good at shuffling papers around on her desk

you know….. some would agree she barely did even that 😂

Dude...this is the first competitive year since going co-ed.....give it a few years before asking that

Good, bad, or ugly....the phrase "give it a few years" and modern day drum corps don't mix. Kids nor their parents are juiced about paying $5K to be part of a "maybe it will work" rebuilding experiment. The Cavaliers have a brand built around the brotherhood of an All-Male corps. I don't work for nor speak for the organization, but my semi-educated opinion of the organizations priorities says this issue isn't even on the list of things to consider moving forward.

that comment was about madison? maybe I misread what youre putting out there

They actually have recruited well in Texas.  Hopefully though they will increase east coast recruiting, but so might Cadets.

I think every corps does a Texas camp nowadays and that's what's hurting Crossmen.

Just like any top 3 corps -- Those who want to be there will be there, BAC no longer needs to recruit from the northeast or Florida for that matter.

Their guard staff speaks for itself not only during the summer, but the POWERHOUSE of the indoor units they teach.

Brass staff.... Have you seen their texas band programs...

Drums... I don't think we even need to discuss that... Colin & Iain Moyer will be just fine...

The drum corps will be just fine! Matter of fact THEYVE BEEN FINE since 2017 and everything after that has just been building to this moment of the end of 2022!

  6. This has nothing to do so much with the previous organization or money but more with the new management not being able to manage, be transparent and communicate to the staff about their plans for the future. The staff did not/does not trust the new management hence resignations left and right....

I haven't seen anyone state yet:  Is there a suspicion that all of this is related to the Fred Morrison issue?

If it's all speculation at this point, I don't really care about it.

This appears to be another venerable org going down; I hope someone has actual first-hand facts.

From what I understand it looks like it’s the current management and board!

well their online telethon raised i believe $84k and they kept $1600 a kid as opposed to full refunds or rolling it over....can't be cash is it?

They raised over 100K actually. But I heard the same rumors they are asking every member for $1600 for the 2020 season.....

  9. If you go on their website you will see that the entire design team has resigned except Ed Devlin. Today the last one Andrew M. (music writer) announced his resignation. You will also notice the entire Colorguard educational team has left. Some of the visual guys as well.

Management page went from 7 employees to two. Board of directors went from 10 to whatever is even left....

    interesting things happening....
