I know alot of people who wanted to audition, but opted not to due to them hosting all auditions in Texas.

I will say 2003 is the most underrated Cavies show of that 2000 to 2006 era. Hardest drill Ive ever seen (yes that includes Cadets 2015)

Not the judges, but maybe the way the judging was set up? Either way, it was a different time, alot of the credentials that we would normally expect to see in a modern judge wouldnt have been around back then.

I believe, he was the DM for 2011. Quite the accomplishment.

Such a, as we say- "bando" answer, but man, this 2017 show was fantastic. I loved it, because it didnt just thrive off of drill. The guard, percussion and brassline were fantastic as well. Plus I'm a sucker for that My Way/Mars mashup.

Texans and other Southerners will not have to fly in for any camps until Spring Training as parallel brass camps will be held in Texas five times. Percussionists will still be expected to come to camps in the Northeast. This will be a huge saving of flight costs but will also be a challenge to mold the two brass ensembles into one come Spring Training.
