To wind down I will be having a rum old fashioned made with Smith and Cross Navy Proof rum
Great idea, time to dust the Appleton off and fix one up

Let’s skip the encore this year.
Hate to see it. Watching most of the crowd leave for the BD 2010 encore was heartbreaking to watch

OMFG, I wish I was him. This guy was on DCP? Wow - talented and cute. I'm untalented and fat.
I’ve been away from DCP for a bit, is poppy still around?

I would say 2013 or 2015 was the best top 4 ever.
The 2010 and 2015 lineups were stellar as well

I just realized the final set in the opening drill is the mirror image of those squiggles in the backfield

So many female soloists nailing it tonight and I’m here for it. Seeing more women in the batteries lately has been a great sight; whether it’s a matter of talent or feeling more comfortable to audition, I’m loving the inclusiveness.

There is a depth to the poem the show is based on. Its almost like a longing for times past. Not bad for a 500 year old poem.
It’s an evocative poem, and you feel the author’s yearning and anger for what used to be. The Garden of Love exists only in memory, and sometimes the sentiment of “smile because it happened” just isn’t enough.

There’s such a melancholy to this show and I’m here for every second of it

It's not the percussion feature. I don't know what it is. I just think the opener is so fantastic and On the Waterfront to the end is absolutely brilliant. Maybe that's why. I don't know. Most years I am not a fan of ballads, but this year is different. I'm confused, if you can't tell.
I think I’m with you. That percussion feature is nuts, but the mish-mash of tunes that follows just kinda leaves me… lost? I’m not sure where I’m supposed to be taken musically

This show is the one I most want to live in, the score is beautiful
