I'm excited to be able to see Music City again tonight, now that I understand their program, Gasoline Rainbows, written for their 2020 season, was inspired by an underwater display in Tennessee, of a ship sunken during the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I'm guessing that ship was the USS Arizona, since that is where the memorial is located.
Much respect to Music City! I come from a Navy family. My baby brother has retired of the US Navy. Now he works for the US Navy, at Pearl Harbor, as a civilian.
I personally witnessed Music City's 2019 debut into DCI's world class. They were a small corps, and their show was very similar to watching to a small open class corps perform.
Music City has grown in size and maturity, very quickly. Their show is much more visually pleasing than the Madison Scouts' show.
I would not be surprised if Music City places higher than the Madison Scouts during finals.
