  1. My 1st time seeing the Troopers this year. I enjoyed the music, the brass horns with all the darkness, and the cello. The long skirt capes were beautiful to look at, but some of the guard got their equipment tangled up in them.
  2. I'm so glad that the rebroadcasts will be staggered out tomorrow. I think Whitewater will rebroadcast @ 9AM CT and Memphis will be @ 11AM CT.
  3. The Madison Scouts just announced that anyone with a Rockford Show of Shows ticket can have free entry into their Whitewater show! Facebook
  4. True! For whatever reason, whenever I think of my favorite corps or favorite show, the Blue Devils never pop up in my mind. Then, when I'm able to catch a live BD performance, I'm like, "OMG! This corps is so awesome! They are my favorite!"
  5. I thought SCV show was cleaner than BD. BD's guard work appears to be more difficult. When they were together, it was awesome! I'm not digging the blue tarps.
  6. I'm excited to be able to see Music City again tonight, now that I understand their program, Gasoline Rainbows, written for their 2020 season, was inspired by an underwater display in Tennessee, of a ship sunken during the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I'm guessing that ship was the USS Arizona, since that is where the memorial is located. Much respect to Music City! I come from a Navy family. My baby brother has retired of the US Navy. Now he works for the US Navy, at Pearl Harbor, as a civilian. I personally witnessed Music City's 2019 debut into DCI's world class. They were a small corps, and their show was very similar to watching to a small open class corps perform. Music City has grown in size and maturity, very quickly. Their show is much more visually pleasing than the Madison Scouts' show. I would not be surprised if Music City places higher than the Madison Scouts during finals.
  7. I totally understood it was a joke before I replied. All I am saying is the Cavalier color guard had the potential to be one of the top guards of the season. I honestly hope the Cavies are able to overcome their illnesses to in place in the top 6.
  8. Yea, right. The last time I saw the guard perform, they were not very clean. I really hope that during this down time the corps is perfecting their show.
  9. Evansville seems to be Phantom's adopted home away from home, which is totally fine by me. I love Evansville and I love Phantom!
