Completely agree! I have been converted from a high watcher to a front and low watcher the last two seasons. Especially after you have seen the drill from high at least once to know it, I then enjoy the show better.

Same. I used to always seek out the "press box" seats, but as corps move away from more traditional drill design to staging and individual dance/facial performance, there is so much of the show that you are missing if you are up at the top of the stands. Plus getting your face blown off never gets old.

Man I cant help but think that strategically they should've held onto this new ending until closer to the end of the year.

Seems like they want to run the table and stay unbeaten the whole year. Unveiling it now leaves them vulnerable for finals week In case BD has something else up their sleeve.

This is actually later than they've added their ending in recent years (the new ending was in for San Antonio in 2017 and 2018).

She lives by a school.  It’s always the same.  People buy homes by schools and are surprised when school things happen there. Or they buy a house by the airport and then complain that airplanes are taking off from there.

I bought my house by neither a school or an airport.  But I do live by a ramp to I-88.  I knew there would be highway traffic noise. I have no grounds to complain

If you live by an airport you know there will be noise from the planes. That doesn't mean you'd be cool with them taxi-ing through your flowerbed.

I completely agree - the Cascades were the "dog" of the show - but they were entertaining and high quality.

I noticed a number of corps hyping during live performances.  It's bad show.  Any corps doing that does deserve criticism in my opinion.

Yup, could clearly hear Cavies doing it during Crown, then BD doing it during Cavies. They were also in clear view of the stands, in a place where they would definitely know they'd be heard.

  5. I know it’s been covered already, but this event was a logistical nightmare:

-Huge parking lines (literally waited half an hour in line) then when lots filled up, they didn’t know where to direct you to.

-Hundreds of folks in will call line long after the event started

-Hooooo boy, the seating clusterf***. Basically they labeled the seats with stickers, but did it reverse from what was listed on the DCI site. So my 50 yard line seat I bought back in December was now on the 35.

In the end it didn’t ruin my experience, but I missed the first two corps and missed out on the “dream seats” I’d been looking forward to for months. Whoever organized this needs to not be in charge next year. Lake Highlands was a dream compared to Mesquite.

Badly do I need tickets to this.

Gonna try to snag some from the box office right at 3 PM. Hopefully there's something decent left...

The stand is broken into sections 1-8, and I can tell you that sections 3-6 are sold out (or at least were listed as such online yesterday). Not that seats farther out can't still provide good views, but just giving you some info.

I saw the Saro video a few days ago on reddit, and it has been stuck in my head the past few days. VERY excited to see how this takes shape on the field, could be at the top for my favorite ballad this summer! I like Crown's "If I Fell" and hope that it will grow a lot this summer, can't wait to hear what cavies do with "Vanishing Act" too, but this will be a definite contender! The last ballad I loved from Bluecoats was back in 2010.

Extremely triggered by the assertion that someone did not love Hymn of Acxiom
