Michael Cesario proposed that at the 2018 winter meetings and it was shot down by the directors, who argued that it would demean the hard work of corps that were on the verge of Finals. Not to mention, we technically already have a “Top 15” in the form of the Prelims cinecast.

But all that is beside DrumManTx’s point that this was a great season from top to bottom.

My point in bringing this up is that there has never been a time where there has been more talent in the DCI pool, as evidenced by the competitiveness; expansion would allow those on the edge (SOA, etc.) to be included in Finals. Would be a huge boost to those programs to be included in top 15.....

Cleaner, visually. The individual attention to detail is still far behind what you're seeing in CC and SCV. Subdividing the entire movement so that unison movements start AND COMPLETE cleanly would do a world of good for them in the next two days.

The MA score tonight,  however, was a joke. With an MA score that is closer to the trend line for them, the spread between Cavaliers and BAC grows just a bit and the gap from CC shrinks a bit.

They were not the only MA score tonight that was a head scratcher, for sure.

Not super shocked to see Crossmen up on Mandarins, Crossmen are very good this year.

But I do think having no VP or CG judges definitely exaggerated that spread since Mandarins have been scoring very well in those two sub captions.  That .7 deficit in VA would have been less than .25 if the other two visual sub captions were there.

Interested to see how the next few days turn out.

I think Bones would have wanted the CG Score - they are crushing it this year...trailed bluecoats and SCV by less than a point in color guard last night.
