Cavaliers get so much better with each show! It almost feels like the COVID pause didn't happen

Every Texas high school student (formerly me) is obviously conditioned for the weather, but that doesn't mean its not uncomfortable. Members who don't live in the south aren't as well equipped to stay comfortable in the weather. It's a discussion on comfort, not conditioning

I would say safety and inclusion. Making sure that ALL members feel safe in an ensemble and not excluded due to their identity is going to be extremely important in not only DCI, but the future of the marching arts in general. Second would be finding a way to make the southern tour less strenuos weather and climate wise. There are a good number of domed/roofed stadiums here in Texas (The Star, AT&T, NRG, Alamodome, etc.) that could be used as locations. The Texas tour is extremely lucrative and losing it is likely not an option

With this season bringing out some of the best and worst in DCI Fans, what are some hard to swallow pills that fans don't understand 1. A first place brass finish at DCI Southwestern would still have Crown in 3rd place 2. Judges judge cleanliness, NOT enjoyment

For my first ever show, there was nothing better! Being in row three of the section right down the 50 was a treat to listen to and watch! From the first Guardians note to the Blue Devils record score at DCI Southwestern, I couldn't stop smiling and I honestly didn't care about the scores given out. I just had so much fun!

I didn't get to watch tonight (work 😞 ) but WOW!!! Big congratulations are due for BAC in second! Also, note the small gap between Bloo and SCV, as well as BK and Colts 👀. This season is getting better by the minute!

I see a lot of upset people, but can we not appreciate that tonight featured 8 phenomenal shows done by hundreds of extremely talented performers? The night became ruined by those who love to say "everything is rigged" and "knew this from the start of the season." Blue Devils won, but there is still a little under a month left for this season. Your favorite corps can still come back to win! Appreciate that you had the ability to enjoy seeing them instead of getting upset at judges

I felt like BD was gonna win, but not by 1.7 points!

Now THIS. This is a hot take! I don't think i've seen Bloo below 3 from most anybody this season

Outside of that really rough run from the color guard, I think we all saw tonight why they are a 19 time champion and a defending champion as well

BD still are phenomenal as ever, but Color Guard is definitely having an uncharacteristically rough night tonight. Lots of drops in rifles and sabers

Great to see Cavies back in it! Musically strong, but (as expected) there were some visual miscues. Hopefully they'll be back at full strength come the Southeastern Championships

Cavies sound great! Unfortunately, it looks like there are still numerous holes in baritones and i think a contra or two. Hopefully they will be able to get back in to performing soon

BAC performs too well for this to not be a medaling corps. Musically this will be one of the tightest at finals, visually very strong, and GE is through the roof for me personally. I really cannot imagine three shows better than this one
