I’m almost at the top of 139 now. A couple of rows behind @Jurassic Lancer last year. I can’t sit down there anymore. I’d like to keep what hearing I still have left. 😂
We’ll be 244 this year, just for semis, cheering for BC.

The Oprah tarp and saggy Capitol building? Lol the show was about Presidents. The President only goes to the Capitol building once a year. Maybe they were out of saggy White House tarps. Oh and the stage where section 140 could see nothing but the pit. Fun stuff.
I've seen section 140 thru my binoculars,if you want to know whats going on behind the pit, come on up to where the air is nice and thin.

The changes made 2014, could they be accredited with the Blue Coats overtaking the Cadets at finals ?

In 1990, Crown held our everyday rehearsals at the Charlotte Parks and Rec Annex off Independence Blvd., across from the old Memorial Stadium, where NightBeat originated. We used a locked storage unit at the annex for instruments and equipment. Thankfully, we were able to move to the on-campus setting at Belmont Abbey College starting in 1991. The Annex was truly awful but it served its purpose, I guess.
Thanks for that history, loved watching Night Beat at that stadium. Seeing all the Corps finding their cubbies to warm up in was so flavorful to me.

The show may have been “Alice in Wonderland”-esque, but that wasn’t what it was about. It may have been trippy, but it wasn’t about drugs.
It was bringing to life the Wm. Blake poem that was quoted throughout the show. Now it is fair to debate the meaning of the poem, but it was not about drugs.
I would say that the show definitely called out the kill joys of DCI.

6 since 2012, loved them all in so many different ways, although 2014 was painful as a Cadet parent. I've been
a Spirit parent, Cadet parent and a Boston parent, now since 2016.
