Capital Regiment is currently seeking two mallet keyboard players, one synthesizer player, and one rack percussionist for the 2009 season. The next camp will take place May 15-17, and move-ins begin on June 5th. Sufficient Stevens grip knowledge and experience is necessary for the keyboard spot, as well as a general knowledge of music theory for all spots. If you are interested in joining the Capital Regiment front ensemble, please let Samantha Cope or Tim Overturf know of your interest as soon as possible so an interview/audition can be arranged. The Marion Cadets will be holding their third camp on January 16-18. I have received many emails regarding spots available within the percussion section lately. I wanted to take a moment to post some info for all that may be interested. We have not set the line yet, so there are available spots in every section at this point. We have had a great turnout so far at both the Nov. and Dec. camps. Things are looking great and we are exited about getting the line set soon.
