I know there are other great guards; however, I don't see how anyone can beat BAC this season (guard).

I feel the Cadets are close to being on top again. There is a lot to like with this year's show.

Colts need to keep all of their staff intact for next year. I bet the Colts will have a great recruiting class this year.

BD has opened up a larger lead tonight. Though there is no denying BD is super talented and has a phenomenal staff, I would like to see a different corps win.

Housing is going to be an issue wherever finals ends up. Schools are starting earlier than 10 years ago. Too bad finals couldn't be held a week earlier. There are some great marching band programs (i.e. Avon, Carmel, etc.) in the area. I would think their administration would be helpful.

Glendale, Arizona could be a possibility as well as the Alamodome, Schools will have started at both destinations. You convention bureau need to meet with the superintendents of the local school districts to work something out. How difficult is it for corps to find housing this year?

I am concerned about the future of the Madison Scouts, especially with the way this year has turned out. I don't see MS having a great recruiting year due to the placement and toxicity.

Is there any way to get the alumni back to supporting the corps? It appears that comments on DCP are taking the Scouts even further down.

Any word on if the Cadets have put in all the changes they are making to the show?

Allentown is always 2 nights.

It should be around a 3 1/2 hour drive between Houston and SA, depending on where you live.

I have to admit that I wasn't a fan of the show the 1st time I saw it; however, it is now my favorite show this summer. I am hoping they can pass a couple of corps on Saturday.

Having viewed almost every corps this year, I don't understand why the Cadets are placing lower than some corps.

I am confused with the other 2 people in the room. Did they not hear or see anything? I think there are too many unanswered questions right now.

It's sad to see so much bashing of the Scouts. I realize the comments are not directed at the members. I remember when the Cadets, Phantom Regiment, and other corps were bashed pretty heavily on DCP. Some corps members do read these posts. Though I know there is room for improvement, this show is starting to clean up.

I also don't understand the use of the prop. I have seen a prop similar to this used much better in high school marching bands. I do see improvement in the corps; however, I don't see Madison overtaking Crossmen, Pacific Crest, Troopers, Colts, and a couple others. Too bad the members weren't provided a show with better design.

Academy's brass sounds really good. I am not a fan of their drill / design this year. That may hold them out of making finals.

It will be interesting to see how the Cadets, Phantom Regiment, and Mandarins stack up against each other.

The corps appears to be young and inexperienced, especially the soloists. Hopefully the show will evolve and improve.

My fear is that MS won't be able to get the alumni on board with fundraising due to the current situation. The alumni could help bring in some top staff. My other concern is that the Colts, Phantom Regiment, Blue Stars, Cavies are making it difficult for the Scouts to recruit.
I will give credit to the members for the improvement made throughout the season.
