  1. Get it together, Stan Sfield! Even I got a 1028.3 See y'all Saturday...
  2. Can't wait to see y'all in Rochester! Only a couple more days :)
  3. Glad to hear your arm is okay, Scott! Just stay away from buses for awhile, okay? ^0^ Hope the ride back to 'Cuse was much less eventful than the ride down... See y'all in Rochester!
  4. Awesome (but exhausting) Weekend! Evan--thank you for posting. It's great to know the Ohio crew got home safely. I'm still not sure how y'all managed to get through Saturday on no sleep...it was rough enough for those of us that did manage to clock in a couple hours the night before... It was great start to the summer season seeing Cabs, Cru & Brigs Alumni all in one weekend. Can't wait for Wildwood--only a few days (and a bazillion loads of laundry) away! See y'all soon~
  5. What a great camp! It was so nice to practice in weather that finally felt like summer. Maybe that's why we got so much done... Can't wait to see y'all this weekend--it's gonna be great to have the unis on again!
  6. My quick (belated) weekend wrap-up: ...lots 'o work done at camp ^OO^ ...Shawn & I saw a double rainbow on the drive back to Philly (awesome job with the weather, Dawn Marie ^OO^) ...introduced Shawn to NDP2 (we tried the original No Dogs Pees, but with 2 tour buses already parked, it seemed like a really bad idea...) ...short week at work, so we're closer to the next camp ^OO^ See y'all Saturday!
  7. Of course I'm happy now--still on post-camp buzz. :) As for the spelling correction, I'm still likely to remind you of your "defense" you gave at the Waterfront while we're at shows in Pennsylvania...lol... ("In my defense, Ohio is much easier to spell than PA"--Evan Kleve 5/21) ^0^ See ya Saturday!
  8. Hey, Pete: We had a discussion at NDP2* (a.k.a. the Wendy's at Clarks Summit). Your generosity at the Waterfront was thought to have a significant impact on the quality of sound we produced Sunday morning. We thought that you should try it again just to make sure... ^0^ ^0^ ^0^ (*The secret is out about No Dogs Pees--it's gotten way to crowded to hold our post-camp 'meetings' there...even if the gas is way cheap!)
  9. Just thought I'd repost for Dave Keck so maybe he'll actually take the day off from recruiting to spend some time with his family on Mother's Day... :) NEXT CAMP: May 14-15th. Should be a great time!
  10. Make sure you print this for the rest of the drill guys...it'll really help Larry if he ever has to describe the differences between periwinkle, lilac and lavendar again... ^0^
  11. So is anyone else excited that Wayne will be in for the next camp? ^OO^
  12. lol--this coming from Mr. Magenta/Periwinkle/Ecru :P
  13. Waning Gibbous?? Is this the "other"/WTF weather that was discussed earlier?
  14. I thought the weather this weekend was surprisingly good for our first drill camp of the year...it didn't really rain (or snow or sleet) too much while we were outside. Not so cool: marching on a field that could have been a wading pool... <**> Can't wait to do it again next weekend! :)
  15. You can forget about the no parade clause. I had Ron Blakely help me with negotiations for the St. Patrick's Day parade--I just got a direct 'No' instead of laughter from 'management' <**> If you do go through with the Labatt sponsorship, can I get Bambi's share? I already have an honorary "B" number from Christine! :)
  16. SUN = 1, MELLOS = 0 Barb, Let me guess: left eye was okay, right eye was the swollen one? I feel much better knowing I'm not the only one...I think my face will fall off sometime later this week... B) Can't wait to get back out there on the 23rd!!! ^OO^
  17. LOL!! This has all the subtlety of the pants you wore to your first camp this year... (Oh, yeah--camp April 9-10!!)
  18. Okay, so does this mean I've gotta race the buses AND the NYC Van when I get to No Dogs Pees?!? (I hate standing in line...) Can't wait to see y'all in a couple weeks!
  19. SEWAT? Doesn't that always happen when we play SAPIN?
  20. I can't believe no one has commented on this yet...so many jokes, so little time... Seriously, glad to hear you'll be at the next camp Kroon! :)
  21. Thanks so much for posting this, Teddi--you made me feel so much better about MY job! ^OO^ My inner monologue during meeting today: WOW. Maybe it IS a good idea to print 'CAUTION: Contents May Be HOT!' on take-out coffee cups. Some people really DO need that extra information to understand hard concepts like that... 10 minutes later, same meeting: Pictograms. They need to use pictograms on the cups. 'CAUTION: Contents May Be HOT' may be using too many big words... Is it time for camp yet?
  22. 911 = number to dial in emergencies 411 = number to dial for information 'Getting the 411' is now slang for getting information. 4/11 (or April 11th) is something completely different--recovery day after our next camp! B)
