One Week From Today!!!! Look out West Coast Evil, original evil is on the way! Seriously, we are looking forward to this and can't wait to be with you all. My first REAL vacation in three years! I want to thank those of you who I have corresponded with for being so gracious in answering my questions....can't wait to be a Renegade for a day!

Well, seeing as I am going to San Francisco to march with the Renegades in the Chinese New Year Parade in a few weeks, I'll already be half way to Hawaii (from New Jersey) so we might just have to check that out! Thanks for the idea!

After speaking with many people today, it is ovbious that there are more people who want to contribute but have had a hard time putting their thoughs and feelings into words on paper. No matter when you send me an e-mail, I will make sure it gets into the books. If they get filled I'll start another. I have been working on Sean's Memory Book for most of the day (when the boss is not looking). Just from the posts on DCP it will be close to 100 pages. You guys rock! The hard part is reading your heart-warming stories and feeling for Sean without crying. I will continue to take your e-mails up to noon tomorrow for immediate inclusion in the book. If you cannot make that deadline, please still send your e-mail and I will make sure that copies get made for both books that I am putting together. I would really like to be able to present these to the family at tomorrow's service. Thank you Drum Corps Planet Members - you surely are the best - your gift to the Holton Family will be on I know they will cherish.

Does that mean we get to have one of those BIG Pizza Parties you are so fond of, Lee? Looking forward to it!

I imagine that if you are sending cards or flowers that you could send the directly to the funeral home. They usually stay in touch with the family and will get anything that arrives afterwards to them.

The wake for Sean will be Thursday, February 1st from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at: Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 (732) 264-1352 Funeral services will be private.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words. Please see my thread under DCA Discussions. We are compiling a Memory Book for Sean's family and I need all of you who have known Sean to send me your memories, stories, jokes, photos, etc. I think this would be a great gift from the Corps Community to give to his loved ones. Thanks again!

If you have read my earlier post, you have heard that Sean Holton passed away this morning. Sean was a long standing and important member of our NY Skyliners family and obviously a friend to one and all (from the posts I am seeing on my initial thread). I would like to put together a Sean Memory Book for his family, but I need your help to do so. Please e-mail me your stories, jokes, fond memories, photos, etc. and I will put them together in a book for Sean's family. Please don't send your items through this forum, as I think they would print nicely in e-mail format. Additionally, please sign your real name to the end of the e-mail, not just your e-mail address, so his family will know who sent it. As I have no information on services as of yet, I am asking you to quickly get your memories to me, as I would like to get this together for then.
