"As I just realize that I've broken rule #1 of the Army Band code of conduct. 1) No suggestions please, they will be taken seriously."
Hahahahahahahaha
I guess it only makes sense if you served in the Army music program. Woot 40th Army Band
So with last weekend being my Army National Guard weekend and this weekend being Father's Day Weekend, I'm going through some serious Brigs withdraw!!!
Well as far as I know you don't need to be in DCI's Junior corps to be considered a drum and bugle corps. So yeah I would think he included all the DCA corps in his total as well.
Well most corps practice one or two weekends a month starting in November and running up until around March. Then it picks up to just about every weekend starting around mid April. With my corps we have camps/shows 3 weekends a months while others do 4 a month. But the thing is that it's all weekend stuff which means people with M-F 9-5 type jobs can participate. So people usually travel to play with a corps they think is good whether it is a local corps, or like with me travel 5 hours to get to the Corps you chose.
This is the best part of the season right here!! Camps every weekend, learning drill outside, music gets cleaner, oh and not to mention the company of my fellow corps mates!!
GO BRIGS!!!!!
