  1. On behalf of Kate Koeberl: Greetings! With the winter season drawing to a close, summer is fast approaching, which means one thing - DRUM CORPS! This Sunday, April 25, the Bushwackers will hold their first outdoor colorguard rehearsal of the season from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. We still have positions available for all sections in the guard, and we're welcoming new folks to come check us out! Our 2004 show is entitled "Early American Landscapes" and features the music of New World Symphony, Amber Waves, and William Tell Overture. It's a very exciting show that will draw upon the guard's talent to illustrate the concept of American life at the turn of the 20th century, and it's sure to be a fun show to perform! The Bushwackers are ready to hit the field to begin the new season - we hope you are too! If you're interested in joining us for a great summer, you can contact our caption head Scott Marshman at Marsh1109@aol.com for further information. Directions to our rehearsal site can be found at the following address: http://www.bushwackers.org/member/ridgefie...directions.html Hope to see you soon! 7. Does anyone have a review of the food??? I saw several folks walking around with what appeared to be some pretty darned good looking treats in tin foil..........
  8. :P :P Yes, it's a rough crowd! :P If we weren't passionate people, we probably wouldn't be involved in the activity! Looking forward to the next couple of weeks, Marie BUSH

  10. 164.The closer is 188. :) No wonder the hornline always seems slow. ;) I'm pretty sure it's 168 and the drum solo jumps up to 172, and the closer is 190 Yes..........lol. Nothing like a few minutes of 190 to get the blood flowing.......... :o)
  11. Great review, Andy. I really enjoy reading what people think about the different shows, etc....and it's great to get different perspectives. I respect junior corps opinions, (as well as the opinions of my "senior" peers), and am especially happy that you liked our show! Hope to hear more of your reviews in the future. Marie BUSH '93--'96, '00--present
  12. Well, if only 3 people from each corps can participate, looks like we'll have to have a semi-finals for the last 2 spots. (Ummm, Jerome, you're definitely in.........). Last Sunday in Harrison BBQ and loud-off semi-finals? Marie BUSH :D
