  1. With the blue, maybe they actually thought that the were part of the navy
  2. As I stated, mostly surprised with Renegades and Statesmen scores. I'll be able to give more thoughts at the end of the night after I see recaps.
  3. Seeing the spread I'm not completely surprised. Just the Renegades score and Statesmen scores really surprise me. ESPECIALLY statesmen's
  4. Via Corps Scores on twitter: Statesmen-90.75 KidsgroveScouts-89.75 AtlantaCV-87.03 Renegades-86.25 FusionCore-84.88 Bushwackers-80.2 Kilties-79.53 Statesmen that high??? really?? Rengades above Fusion? I'm surprised by those numbers.
  5. I'm pretty sure East Coast Jazz marched through a lighting storm in 2004 at DCI finals.
  6. Kidsgrove: Holy Crap! That's the amazingness I remember from 2 years ago. I wish they would come every year!
  7. No Numbers (because a bunch of corps haven't competed yet) but in order: Fusion Empire Atlanta Renegades Kilties Bush
  8. Empire: Trying deperately show they shouldn't be this low. Visual is what's killing them though, along with the simplicity
  9. When's the last time statesmen have gone on this early at prelims?
  10. Fusion: I love this show so much! Easily my favorite of the year. seemed a bit weak today though hopefully they turn it up tomorrow
  11. CorpsVets: WOW! Probably the best CV show in years, Definitely a finalist. Could sneak up on FC and even Empire.
  12. They used to. Now they're calculating during intermissions, giving the scores to directors, then announcing them. ONly scores announced thus far have been for class A. Scroll backa few pages to see them posted.
  13. Kilties: Very impressive. Best I've seen them in a while. Definitely ahead of bush, don't know if it's enough to make finals though
  14. I understand the physicality and respect that. And even though they do much less compared to Roland and Chris, I also feel that Roland and Chris could do a lot less soloing and have it still be entertaining. This is just my opinion on the subject, I'm not going to dislike a show or corps because the have pit bosses, I just prefer it without them. It's the only "old school" thing I prefer (along with no electronics...I do like amplification though...) We'll just agree to disagree.
  15. Bushwackers: MUCH MUCH improved since Clifton. Did not expect that at all based on Clifton. Would like to see the "old" Bush back
  16. You can easily step out and do that, but then go back to actually marching. See Jamie Gibbs (statesmen), Phil Rosas, Evan Kleve, Genvieve Denis (Brigadiers) and etc
  17. I find it MUCH more impressive when a guy is busting his butt running around the field and can still do what they do.
  18. And with all do respect to Roland, Nails, Grupp, Pero, Price, and the like, I still think "pit bosses" should be banned
  19. Renegades: Typical Renegades show. Should make finals, don't know where they would be placed
  20. Ugh, these intermission go by a lot quicker when you're there in person...
  21. Govenaires: They know what it takes to win in Class A. You don't need a large corps when things are that tight. #dca2012
  22. Carolina Gold: Started solidly, but seemed fatigued at the end. Anyone know how hot it is there? That might be playing a factor..
