    I understand that I am not a respected member of this community. #### YOU if you feel that way

    However... because of recent developments in the drum corps community regarding placements, scores, and spreads, please let me put this into perspective

    DCI WANTS YOU TO GO TO PASADENA

    They are stirring up the pot:

    There are 2.4 points separating the top 7

    There are 5.8 points separating 8th - 15th (with scores as old as the tail end of last month)

    Madison Scouts could possibly not make Semis... or Quarters... or opening ceremonies

    The Bluecoats beat the Blue Devils and Cavaliers... at the same show... same night... first time in history...

    Two corps have the chance to enter the Top 12 for the first time

    A Calfornia trip will exceed $1000 including hotels, tickets, food, souvies, beer tabs, arcade games, mini golf, and $5/gallon gasoline to fill up your rental Sport-Utility Vehicle

    Disregard of tradition for no apparent reason. I just don't understand the apparent need for change. Some may say to 'keep the younger crowd interested' or to 'broaden our base of appeal,' as is the reason cited for most changes, but the last song at the end of the night played only at a few shows isn't going to change those things one bit. Again here I feel we have modern DCI administrators (directors) forcing evolution on itself where it simply isn't needed. Isn't tradition worth anything anymore?

    Good call. You must have a good head on your shoulders coming from a fine marching organization as such. Kudos to you and your company. Your willingness is appreciated at this time of disaster in our nation's capital.

    Ok guys, I might not be the most respected personality on this forum.... or even in my band... but that's another story... well lets just say senior prank day went a LITTLE TOOOOOOOOOOO FAR

    By my calculation, which I am using my TI-85 complete with On Button and Tetris, the Miami Heat will reign supreme in the battle of the bands in Seattle, Washington with Dippin' Strips Pizza, a side order of Okra, and some fresh iced tea.
