  1. I totally agree....that would be a great commercial! for the record...Fever, Super 8 in Anaheim....rehearsal fields, wherever they could find them....hours on the freeway, seemed endless. Despite all of the housing issues though, the kids did a GREAT job! They say, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger!
  2. Just got home and finished resting up from the whirlwind weekend! It was a great weekend for all Div II/III corps! As the weekend progressed we had more and more people in the stands which is nice. Just wish more people would come out and see the kick A** shows that these smaller corps put on! And the emotion and heart that comes off the field each and every time! These young people always truly amaze me! I am very proud of what FEVER accomplished this summer! With all that we have had to overcome you guys gave it your all and left your heart on that field! It is an honor to be part of what you have done! .1 away from that GOLD, high GE and colorguard.....FEVER, you have nothing to be ashamed of! It was a phenomenal year, your are phenomenal young adults! Great job! Let's get some rest and then start on 2008! Congratulations to Memphis Sound and Spartans! You will represent the divisions well!
  3. This is exactly the perspective the staff at Fever has taken as well. Although we have had to "move down", our work ethic and performance expectations has always remained high. We may be Div III in membership numbers but we take a Div I attitude when it comes to our approach for performance. I firmly believe that all of the Div II/III corps work very hard but it really does come down to how many people you have on the field sometimes, but not always as we have seen periodicallly. My hope and desire is that more people on the West Coast have had a chance to see that Div II/III is worth coming out to watch! It can be a great show without having the big Div I names! I love all Div II/III corps, they have the most heart in their performances because they have to work harder to be taken seriously and they have to work harder to exist! Huge props to all of them who have been able to make it to the field this year! * *these are my humble opinions and I speak only for myself*
  4. Memphis Sound 90.975 Great job Memphis! Now to round 2! :P
  5. :( For missing it! ^OO^ To those kids and the staff!
  6. Just relayed the score over the phone and the kids were screaming! I guess it was a great performance and they thought I had seen it....wish I had! Good job FEVER!
  7. It was a 74.025 or something very similar. That's what I heard during that brief moment.
  8. Well, yes and no. No the Div II/III prelims are not over. Yes the webcast is....actually never really got started. You didn't miss much!
  9. I really wish I hadn't rescheduled my root canal, because now I have to do it Thursday afternoon and then drive down to Pasadena Thursday night! But once I see all the corps perform, it will be worth it and this agony/frustration will be a memory! I hope!
  10. What a totally unproductive work day needless to say! :P
  11. Scores seem frozen again.....they are killing me here!
  12. I hate to wish that Friday night has problems too, but this is so totally not fair for these Div II/III kids! It's their only chance for everyone in teh world to see them and they work so hard! Frustration, frustration, frustration.
