  1. just saw where you are reading my new post. any ideas?

  2. I use a pearl drum with knee rest and sling. Sling is not working for this aging neck (Alumni corps) Is there anyway possible to convert a harness to use with a sling type drum? Im thinking removing the 2 pegs from the bottom of the harness and rigging a hook instead. Yes, I am a female...so while it sounds like a good plan, Im NOT a mechanical engineer.....just sayin..... trying to save money and use what I have.....thoughts?
  3. I have a pearl drum with a knee rest/ carried with a sling.....not very comfortable on an aging neck (Alumni corps member) Has anyone attempted to or have any ideas that would work to convert an existing shoulder harness to carry this type of drum? My idea was to remove the harness bars off the bottom section and add a hook. Just trying to save $ and use what I have :) Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. ps I prob should have put this thread under percussion..but I KNOW there are lots of mechanical engineering horn players and guard out there :)
