  1. Is that a fat joke? b**bs

 ugh here we go. If Dan and the gang (much better then Kool and the gang btw) shows up then it would be difficult for me not to be there. FYI....if you are ever with Dan and you stop by a Del Taco....do not....i repeat...do not....order the Big Fat Tacos. You've been warned

  2. I find it absolutely hilarious that Lee got attacked for adding a link to a movie he produced on his signature. Lee, i guess you're only supposed to add all drum coprs related things, as well as every freakin hs band and girls bell corps you've ever even thought about writing parts for, to your sig. Seriously, if i had produced a movie you can be ###### sure i would freakin promote it. Why do people hate you so much Lee? Take a shower, see if that helps.

  3. Can we please stop talking about the ###### penalty. If not can we at least agree to stop trying to compare one to another. There is no conspiracy theory. Our guys stepped over a line a couple times. Someone from Bush turned the wrong way last year. Who cares. We had a great time performing and i am sure everyone else who has ever gotten a penalty did too. Congrats to all corps for living through the conditions this year. Can't wait to hopefully have a drier show next year. Now i must go work all this alcohol out of my system from the week of finals.

  4. 6. San Francisco Renegades -  Renegades wow the fans as always and stay in a solid 6th place position.  DCA's most unique show gains even more Eastern fans in their 4th trip to Scranton.

He put us in 6th. That's frickin classic. #### if we get 6th again that will be 3 in a row. 666. How much more Evil can we get? he he ^0^

**counting the minutes till i get on the plane!!!**

  5. Asolutely loved this show. I remember the first time we actually got to see them that year was Allentown if memory serves. They were, for lack of a better term, a frickin mess. I was watching the drumline warm-up, and they were breaking on music. Staff was yelling. Kids were getting frustrated with each other. They were just in disarray. Saw the show that night and wasn't all that impressed. Then i saw them @ semi's and was blown away. Talk about turning around your season. I will not say they should have won, but if they had i would not have complained.

  6. I take that one further and , although I agree with you, Star of Indiana had no rivals as they constantly stunned audiencs with their explsive, non-stop endings.

    ~G~

I am in TOTAL agreement on that one. Especially in the 90's. I know at the time some hated it, but i specifically remember 93. Everytime i saw them that year i was amazed by their closer. From the downbeat to the end, it was awesome. The tension built up throughout, and then the final release was just awe inspiring. Ahhhhhhhh i miss me some star.

  7.   I just don't see how you win top drums when you sing a drum solo?????

Some other people beat me to it, but i will chime in here as well. Although i could really have done without the vocalization part, those guys and gals could straight up play. There's a reason that they have won numerous drum titles in recent years. My biggest problem with the show was i would rather have heard them play the stuff they were vocalizing, but let's have no more baseless discussions about them not deserving a drum title.

  8. I voted for 92 only because they MADE me watch them that year. I was always visually drawn to what they were doing every time i saw them that year. In no way do i think that was the best cadets guard ever technically speaking, but if they can keep the attention of this drummer for more then 3 seconds, they did something right. 93 rocked as well. I kind of base my opinions off of shows that i see live, as i believe the videos never do the guard justice. anyway, back to your regularly scheduled postings.

  9. I have been thinking about this, and i believe the guy that stopped may have been correct. If i remember right, Saturday night when they did the pinwheels to play at the crowd, they were centered on the 50. Sunday night with the train wreck happening, they ended up centered on the 40 or 45. Either way, something was definately wrong last night. Ouch, and it was a visual ouch that lasted all performance long. To quote a friend of mine, they were so bad visually that it was "uncomfortable to watch." Especially considering we have come to expect them to be at least adequate visually. Oh well, all i can say is clean clean clean and we'll see come finals.

  10. WOW. I never knew that the 93 show was written for Scott. Be that as it may, Brian did an awesome job steppin' in and filling in the superman role.

Sounds like a good story. Why didnt Scott march 94 BD?

Say what you will, but i believe the main reason he didn't march in 94 was karma. He kinda screwed us in 93, so it was only fitting in my opinion that he missed out on the only chance he had at a ring. He was a good friend at one time and a GREAT soloist, there is no doubt about that. I just wish he had spoken to some of his friends a bit before making such a decision. Oh well. Live and learn.
