leadsop97 Posted August 5, 2007 Share Posted August 5, 2007 Visual performance is based on many things as you know Sobe. Technique plays a big part, and color guard especially plays a big part. Academy's guard last year was pretty far behind ECJ and Spartans which is why ECJ was able to pull out vis over them. as for beating Spartans, I dunno. They're always solid visually, I think it came down to technique stuff, but I could be very wrong. on topic, Great score for Surf. Spartans definitely won't let it go. But as I've stated before, Spartans have tended to peak early the past couple years and lost some ground come finals week. I would imagine that the two corps will be flip flopping the next couple shows, but I hope and somewhat expect Surf to come out on top.
