The New York Skyliners' Membership Day will take place:

Date: Sunday, October 14th

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 P.M.

Place: Dover American Legion Post #27 in Dover, New Jersey

Join us as we get ready for "The Awakening!"

Buoyed by the excitement, enthusiasm, and spirit of the New York Skyliners Mini-corps (which successfully made its debut at the DCA I&E competition in Rochester, New York) and the outpouring of support, generosity, and brotherhood extended to the field corps by the New York Skyliners Alumni, fans, family, friends and many other drum corps in and out of DCA, the New York Skyliners’ preparations for 2008 are proceeding quickly.

The New York Skyliners are returning to the field of competition performing an original Chris Bernotas brass show. Chris Bernotas will act as co-show coordinator with Battery & Ensemble Composer, Keith Warfield. Eric Sabach is returning to the New York Skyliners as Visual Designer. Watch for additional 2008 New York Skyliners staff (design and instructional) and show announcements.

Please note the following additions to the above Directions

IF YOU RUN INTO THE DOVER STREET FAIR

use the following additional directions to get around the Flea Market to the Dover American Legion Post #27:

MAKE A RIGHT (Blackwell Street) once you cannot go straight anymore.

Take the next LEFT (furniture store on corner).

Go through the light (watch for traffic from the right!) over the RR tracks.

Up the hill see the parking lot on your left.

MAKE A LEFT into the Parking lot. Go through the parking lot.

You can see the HEAD START BUILDING (BRICK) opposite the Parking lot. The American Legion Post is down the block from there.

Find a spot in this lot, parking closer to the Post (and the Head Start Building.)
