Homage: Three Tapestries For centuries, tapestries were used to tell stories and portray historical events. Kings and nobles collected these beautiful works as status symbols. Churches created ornate scenes to tell stories of the bible. Great battles were recounted in vivid color and detail. The Sunrisers will, through this majestic piece by David Holsinger, weave their tapestries. Movement I – Regnum Movement II – Sacra Movement III – Proelium The Sunrisers are happy to be back and are very excited to present this dramatic and dynamic show in 2009! We will be rehearsaing this Sunday, December 14th and Sunday, December 28th from 1-6pm at the Christ Church Parish House, 1355 Northern Blvd. Manhasset, NY 11030.
