We had a great turnout at the Feb 10 practice with several new members in all areas of the corps. We are currently looking at 40+ in the hornline, all players. The drumline looks like it should be around 20 members. So were off to a great start and from what I hear there more on the way.

Our optional tuesday night practices are giving valuable practice time to our new members. I know for me personally, when I joined Kevins last May(after thirty plus years of not playing), it was the tuesday night practice working with Buzzy and a few other experience horn players that really got me back into playing.

So if you haven't check us out, and your looking to get back into playing stop by our next Sunday reheasal at the Amvets on Sunday Feb 22.

WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE MOST FANSTASTIC HORNLINES OF THE EARLY-MID 60'S. A TOTAL DIFFERENT SOUND FROM EVERYONE ELSE. BEVERLY CARDINALS WERE CLOSEST AT DUPLICATING KEVIN'S SOUND IN MY OPINION. (did I say that right?) BOTH GREAT BOSTON CORPS ALONG WITH THE CRUSADERS, I.C.REVERIES AND NORWOOD DEBONNAIRES FROM MY MARCHING ERA.

Thank you for the kind words .What is really cool is that we have horn players in our line now from all of the Corps you mentioned . & many others that played in those St Kevins hornlines in the 60s too . this is what makes Kevins special ...The People & the Bergdoll arangements .I love it .

You'll really need to get there early, Buzzy & I were just talking about that the other day, where is everyone going to fit at the Amvets. It looks like we pick up a few more horns player once MA Legend ends. I know of a another contra & sop coming for sure and a mellophone & sop coming to checks us out. So I will save you a seat.
