Tulsa Commanders Holding Audtions

Recommended Posts

The Commanders Drum and Bugle Corps based in Tulsa, Oklahoma will be holding auditions, we need people that have a vast knowledge of performance in brass, percussion, pit instruments and colorguard.

We will be hosting auditions later this month near downtown Tulsa. Please feel free to ask questions. If contacting the Commanders let us know your section, your email and if you have your own instrument or borrow one, which is required at this time.

We are an all age Drum and Bugle Corps. DCA, with no age restrictions. We are trying to build a corps of about 60 people or less. Competition for performance positions will be comprehensive, demanding and fun. Right now, we are building a contacts list, towards the 60 people or less limit. If we do not get the numbers high enough we will be an exhibition corps or mini corps for Drum Corps Associates. A little bit about DCA for those who don't know, basically there are no age restrictions like DCI. Go to http://www.dcacorps.org for more info.

What to know about the auditions, Brass Players need to have a Bb flat Trumpet, F Mellophone, Bb Baritone, or Bb Contra/Tuba. Be prepared to demonstrate, sight reading, a 1:30 prepared piece of music or solo.
