Playlist for this concert is pretty much settled. A couple of the new ones, programmed for Rochester, will depend on whether they are ready, come the dress rehearsal on 7/15.

Our intention is to present a corps-style ensemble that fits seamlessly in with other community music organizations. And this great Community Band Festival is wonderful venue for this purpose. Last year's CB! group was well received, and instantly invited back. And for 2009, I believe that we'll deliver a more polished and musical group.

Our program will include the drum corps competition material that we've used this Spring, as well those which we'll be performing in Rochester:

Hallelujah Chorus

The Brass-O-Maniacs

Cartoon Capers

Bohemian Rhapsody

Black Mamba

Sing, Sang, Sung

Sway

America, the Beautiful

Plus:

My Funny Valentine

Batman

A Nightengale Sang on Barkley Square

Family Guy

Peter Gunn

Everybody's Everything

and 3 new Quintet pieces, which we just read thru last night:

Stardust

Georgia, on My Mind

Seize the Day (from "Newsies")

It's a little more than we need for this concert. We'll see what's ready to go, at the dress rehearsal.
