FesterBoova
Well we did it . The Emmaus Sentinels Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps did our first parade as a unit. We did an awesome job . The people really liked us . We had 12 drummers , 20 horns and I believe 6 or 7 color guard , also an American section. Some of these guys haven't marched in years but did an awesome job. Next up Emmaus Anniversary Celebration in August. We will rock Emmaus.

lcarbonell
yes, it was fun. The coolest part of it for me is that there are a lot of members who were actually in the Sentinels back in the day. Some of them hadn't touched a horn since 1970 and been coming for over a year learning the music and having fun. It was a big day for them. There are videos and music......ENJOY Congratulations Emmaus Sentinels..loved competing with you in red carpet days...always had so much fun when visiting PA. I believe one of Grennies first RCA show was during your state's Bicentennial or perhaps Tricentennial...my old memory is not great...but we had many competitions in pennsylvania...I think we stayed at Bloomsburgh College in Shippinsburgh???? Can't remember details but the people of PA were oh so welcoming of our young canadian corps and I will always remember those days...some of my best times!! Again congrats!!!
