Jehensley
Once again thank you to all of the corps who competed last night in the Riverside (Angel Stadium) show. I think all in attendance would say that this was a much better venue than RCC. The crowd was amazing and by the tmie the World class corps took the field, it was reported that the crown was over 10K. The last minute phone calls to the local bands really paid off. A great time was had by all. Thanks to some great sponsors, the awards ceremony had some great surprises. I know that all the corps who recieved these awards appreciated them greatly. And on to the awards... Thanks to Anaheim Band Instruments, Corps were allowed to take any instruments that needed repair to the ABI tent for free repairs. All corps competing recieved 3 coolers and 20 lbs of purple, red, and yellow drink mix thanks to Gatorade. Thanks to Vonic Truck Services, Each Corps' fleet of vehicles got checked out and serviced by thier team of professionals. In fact a few problems were spotted and fixed. Finally, All of the corps were treated to a little bit of a Southern California Tradition. This made the corps food trucks happy. That's right they got a visit from the In-N-Out food trucks... In All, the show was a great success with an amazing encore performances by Shade and the Tokyo Tornadoes. The crowd was electric and the venue spotless. Thanks to Arturo Moreno for the use of the facility and all of the corps for attending. We look forward to see you all next year at the C.R.A.S.S. home show somewhere in Southern California. You are abosulutely correct. The C.R.A.S.S. organization would like to apologize and present you with the Vis Caption award. It was an error and your kids deserved it.
