randomnoise
Hi Gang, Thanks for the great response, and sorry if I have been tardy responding to your emails - I guess I learned not to do a big sale like this in the middle of Drum Corps and Band Camps! Updates: Two of the contras have been sold (the other two are still available, but definitely need work). We have decided not to sell the 3V Frenchies so that we can put them on the field in the future. In general, GOOD means no major dents, but some finish wear. FAIR indicates that work is needed to repair dents or a minor mechanical flaw. POOR means a lot of work needed. We will need to ship the horns, as our poor equipment trailer is overloaded. Payment can be sent via check, PayPal or credit card. I will be responding to all over the next two days in the order in which your email was received. Thanks for your patience! kanstulbrass
Just to add to this thread: For those of you who invested in these horns (or might still be considering it), Kanstul has the parts for these, and can likely make any necessary repairs before next season. As well, Kanstul has new three valve G bugles for sale direct from the factory: http://www.kanstul.com/category.php?catego...;metaPage=Bugle all the best,

Midlanders Alumni Corps
The Renegades are selling off a treasure trove of classic G bugles used in performance by the San Francisco Renegades, the Santa Clara Vanguard, the Concord Blue Devils and the Blue Knights. We have been collecting these instruments over the years, and our corps hall is filled to bursting, so we need to let some of these horns go. We have silver Kanstul 3 valves of every kind – Classic and Powerbore Sopranos, Mellophones, Baritones, Euphoniums and Contras. There are even four gorgeous 3 valve French Horns that you might be able to talk me into selling. In addition, we have a number of two valvers as well. Many are Dynasty horns from the great SCV lines of the 70s and 80s. There are a few Olds, Kanstul and King horns available - including 5 French Horns used by the champion Blue Devil hornlines of the early 80s. These are priced to sell – I’m sure you will find our prices to be among the lowest you have seen. Don’t miss your chance to buy a piece of drum corps history! Contact me via email to get a list of horns we have for sale. A discount will be given to groups that wish to purchase multiple instruments. Any 3-valve g contras left?
