Hornline Audition Information for the 2010 Season:

Registration: 10-10:30 am

Auditions held until 2 pm.

Note: The audition fee has been waived for the 2010 season. However, a payment will be expected at the end of the January camp for those who make it through auditions.

Location: Laguna Hills High School

25401 Paseo De Valencia

Laguna Hills, CA 92653-5395

Please have about 1-2 minutes of prepared music to play. You will also be expected to have knowledge of the major scales and should be prepared to march.

Bring your own horn, if you can. Also, bring your own mouthpiece, gloves (if you have them), valve oil, comfortable clothes and shoes (for marching), water and anything else you might need for the day.

Gold has been putting up impressive numbers the past few seasons. They've also demonstrated administrative discipline by sticking to a local tour. I'm excited for the season when they decide to come out to championships, but until then I hope they keep doing what they've been doing.

Gold is a quality corps that beats the odds every season, and they are armed with a staff capable of taking fair to good talent and turning them into high caliber performers. Now that's drum corps!
