Chris W Posted June 17, 2010 Share Posted June 17, 2010 The Appleton Americanos hosted a great SDCA show on Sat. June 12th indoors at Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton, WI. The show's line up was the Northernaires, Minne-Brass, Pioneer, Americanos, and Americanos Alumni. It was a great show to see and hear! The Northernaires won the show. Prior to the show there were parades in Oconto, WI which the Northernaires won and the massive Flag Day parade in Appleton. The next day Sun. June 13th, a SDCA show was held at the Copperfest Festival grounds (outdoors) in Oconto, WI. The same corps, except Pioneer were at the show which was won by Minne-Brass. All of the corps have shown much improvement since the season began in April. The next SDCA show is on Sat. July 17th in McHenry, IL. For more info see www.thesdca.org.
