Kansan Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 We staffed an informatio/recruiting table at the North Kansas City, Missouri Drum Corps Show at Staley High School. We have a good amount of interested people to follow up on and hopefully help breath new life and momentum into our efforts to push from a Parade Corps to also a Field Corps. Most of the New prospects are local Kansas City Metropolitan area folks which really helps. We also have made contact with two local Youth Drum Lines and have invited them to march The American Royal Parade in KC with us as well. With Prairie Sound, possibly the Commanders and one or both of these youth drumlines marching will be a sight to behold. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Our efforts at DATR are paying off too we have gained a couple of drummers , a guard member and a horn player who are able to finish out our season with us. Here is a recruiting tool that we use. We purchase ads on face book that pop up if anyone has marching, drum corps, music etc in their profile. We have gained about 10 people over the last several years by this means.
