You could email Jim Kilpatrick (with Pearl now) and ask which REMO product Premier marketed as the Marathon.Regards, Gary Hi Gary, The Marathon head was Premier developed and manufactured, it was made of Melinex (same as Myler) with a reinforcing "pad" of Melinex in the centre bonded on the underside. ooo's of these heads were sold in the US . It was extremely strong and had a fantastic sound.
