DannyII
After a few seasons of inactivity, we are pleased to announce the return of The Sinfonians Alumni Corps (SAC) to the DCPI CLASS ACT competition field. Hailing from Evansville, IN, the corps serves as a means for aged-out collegiate and alumni brothers to come together and advance music in America through drum and bugle corps. This season, we're ready to show that we may be older, but we can still rock the house... Featuring music from Kansas, Chicago, and Boston, we present our Season VIII production The All-American Rockin' Roadshow Opening with Kansas' megahit from 1976 Carry On Wayward Son, The SAC comes firing out of the gate with the chart toppers made famous by bands with geographical names. For our second production, we throw a little jazz into the equation saluting the great horn bands of the 1970s with Chicago's hit Free.Next we slow it down for one of the greatest rock ballads of all times, Kansas' immortal hit from 1977 Dust In The Wind. Our closer has a double feature with not one but two great hits from the New England rock band Boston with 1976's Peace of Mind and 1978's Don't Look Back. We hope you enjoy this jaunt across the U.S. in Rock music. See you on the road... Schedule: July 21st Lynn MA August 4 Madison WI August 11 Atlanta GA August 18 Orlando FL August 25 Murfreesburo TN Sept 1 Prelimns Annapolis MD Sept 2 Finals Annapolis MD Uniforms: Modeled after a business suit, we feel our uniforms say "We're serious, but we're here to party..." (or in our case rock!) Edited July 21, 2012 by DannyII
hostrauser
I like those uniforms quite a bit! But why do they have dog poo on their heads? Edited July 21, 2012 by hostrauser
DannyII
that's what we call a poor attempt at an artist's rendering of a 'JFK Comb over'
