bthsds2002 Posted May 9, 2013 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Council Rock HS South, from Holland, PA is seeking additional Brass and Visual Instructors for the 2013 season. Trumpet/Soprano as your main instrument is a definite plus! Candidates should keep current in the marching arts, either as a recent performer or staff member in DCI or DCA, or simply be an avid follower of Drum Corps. Again, Drum Corps experience is a plus, but not a must. Passion and a real need to teach marching band IS an absolute must. South has been a great festival band in its first 10 years. In 2012 we attended our first-ever Cavalcade contest, and placed 3rd out of 7 in the Yankee division, and 3rd overall out of 23. In 2013 South will explore US bands, and Cavalcade while keeping some of our favorite festivals on the schedule.
