bthsds2002 Posted May 9, 2013 Share Posted May 9, 2013 Council Rock HS South, from Holland, PA is seeking a Brass Instructor for the 2013 Marching Band. Trumpet as your main instrument is a would be a plus! Candidates should keep current in the marching arts, either as a recent performer or staff member in DCI or DCA, or be an avid fan and follower of Drum Corps. This experience is a plus, but not a must. Passion and a real need to teach marching band is an absolute must. South has been a great festival band in its first 10 years. In 2012 we attended our 1st Cavalcade contest, and placed third in the Yankee division, and 3rd overall out of 23. In 2013 South will explore US bands, and Cavalcade while keeping some of our favorite festivals on the schedule. This is an EDRPP position that is competitive with other salaries in the area.
