Michael Boo Posted December 6, 2003 Author Share Posted December 6, 2003 Mike, I heard of this in New Jersey also, same format as far as each band plays the same piece during their performance on which their judged. Patty Antol who marched mello in the Saints,Cadets, and Sun was performing with a group in NJ (can't recall the name) that also at the time had some recent age outs from the Cadets. I remember her showing me the alto horn she purchased for the band. Yes, the national championships are based on how they do it in England...each band has to play the same "test" piece.
