BrassGuy01
So since Im finished with my final exams, I decided to check out the Magic camp in Central Florida. I arrived there on sunday around 2:30 and let me tell you, the weather was hot(100 degrees). I arrived just as the hornline was ensembling with the percusion. They were running some of their opener and their closer. To my suprise they sounded really good and the percussion was strong as well. Both percussion and brass arrangements are meaty providing both entertainment and difficulty. After ensemble, they headed for dinner. After dinner, they headed outside for visual block. They learned up to 60 sets that takes them through the opener and into the begining of the ballad. They looked pretty solid through most of the drill and rehersal etiquet was solid. The show IMO will have a more solid design than last year due to the drill which was pretty. I wished I could have come back on monday, but I had to work. In all, I believe Magic will have a good season and may even suprise some heads.
