ffernbus3
http://www.wgrz.com/daybreak/talented04.aspx Got this from Richard "Rocco" Oliverio today. Rocco, whom you may well remember, was my brass instructor the first year he came to The Anaheim Kingsmen in 1966 and went on to lead the corps to the first DCI World Championship in 1972 and took over the corps sometime after that....it was after my time so it's all sketchy and hearsay to me, so I can't honestly comment one way or the other over all the Kingsmen squabbles of the mid- and late-70s. BUT......here's his nephew, 11 year old Anton "Rocco" Oliverio winning a Most Talented Kid contest in New York. Now I admit up front that I'm no judge of percussive talent, having very little of my own, but I think the kid's got chops! Check him out!
