The Pacific Crest audition weekend for brass and percussion takes place January 14 - 16, 2006 (MLK Holiday). The first guard auditions will be February 19 and 26, 2006. To audition, please complete the application and medical forms, and bring them with your $75 audition fee. You can also mail these early to save time. Audition Weekend Schedule (Brass and Percussion) If you cannot attend all three days, please send an e-mail to Mark Gunderson (Brass) at mgunderson@pacific-crest.org, David Henkel (Battery) at dhenkel@pacific-crest.org, or Stuart Pompel (pit) at pompel@pacific-crest.org. Saturday, January 14 8 AM - 9 PM Includes an information session at 9 AM for all students and parents. Sunday, January 15 9 AM - 6 PM Monday, January 16 (MLK Holiday) 9 AM - 6 PM Color Guard: Color guard auditions take place February 19 and 26. If you can't make one of these days, please e-mail Guard Coordinator Wendy Uzarski at wuzarski@pacific-crest.org to make alternate arrangements. The PC Souvie Booth will be at Diamond Bar High School on Sunday, January 15th from Noon to 6 PM during the Audition Weekend. All of our 2005 apparel has been marked down on the website as of tonight as well, so take advantage of the great savings. arivas2002 Posted January 21, 2006 Author Share Posted January 21, 2006 107 brass and percussionists were selected during the Martin Luther King Weekend for the 2006 edition of Pacific Crest. The corps will march 64 brass players this coming season, up from prior years. The first opportunity for color guard auditions is Sunday, February 19th. If you are interested in auditioning for a spot in the corps, the staff will be happy to evaluate you at the February rehearsal weekend. Complete the application and medical forms and bring them, along with your $75 audition fee, to Diamond Bar High School in February.
