As I lost my mom in May of last year, it was of great comfort to know that there were people in the pagentry arts that either called, e-mailed or sent cards/letters/flowers to me and my family back in San Antonio. To me, that is what truly makes this activity as special as it is--the love that so many give, whether they know you or not. May a Higher Power be with you and your family, Bernie.
