nhsalan Posted March 7, 2006 Share Posted March 7, 2006 Hey guys, My drumline is competing at the WGI regional in Roebuck/Spartanburg South Carolina in a couple of weeks. We have had some changes in what we thought our county school system was going to pay for as far as travel to our various competitions. Due to that change in budgetary needs now from our boosters, we are now looking for somewhere to stay (other than a hotel) in that area. The Spartanburg school system does not allow overning stays according to the band director at Dorman so we are looking at churches/private schools/boys and girls clubs etc.... as possible alternatives allow with the possibility of other local school systems not having this prohibition. We are trying NOT to have to ask our kids for more money for hotels due to changes made by adults concerning budgets. If anyone has any leads over in that direction, I"d appreciate it if you'd drop me a note via email or PM.
