NY Skyliners PR
In addition to preparing for the 2006 DCA competition season, the New York Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps has also participated in two Greek Independence Day Parades - one last weekend, on March 26th in Baltimore, Maryland and one today - the Big Apple, New York City ! It is always exciting for the corps to march in New York City and we look forward to these parades. Of course, many of our members and staff hail from the five boroughs - Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island - as well as from Long Island, New Jersey, upstate and mid-state New York, Pennsylvania, Massacuhsetts, Virginia, and Connecticut. Our next rehearsals take place: April 8 - 11:00 - 7:00 April 9 - 11:30 - 5:30 (Color Guard meets at 12:00). at Dover American Legion Post #27; Dover, New Jersey. The soprano and mellophone lines are full. We are currently looking for a couple of baritones, one contra player, one tenor, front ensemble/pit performers and color guard. The color guard schedule starts back up after Winter Guard has finished. We will keep you posted about Color Guard rehearsals. Doreen Sandor Publicity & PR, N. Y.
