Fans of the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps are being encouraged to attend an upcoming Raiders game to provide a supportive send-off as the unit prepares for their 2006 World Championship appearance.

The Kilties will be performing their last field show performance in the Midwest at the Racine Raiders versus Milwaukee Bulldogs game on Sunday, August 27th. The game begins at 1 p.m. at Historic Horlick Field, 1648 North Memorial Drive, Racine. The Kilties are scheduled to perform at the half-time of the game.

Those attending are encouraged to hold up signs wishing the Kilties luck as they head to the Drum Corps Associates World Championships in Rochester, NY, over Labor Day weekend. The signs will help show the members on the field how the community supports the Kilties as they represent Wisconsin at the premier drum corps event.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for students and are available on game day at the gate. Advance ticket sales locations are available by logging onto www.racineraiders.com. All seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. The Raiders are enjoying a winning season, and the Kilties also wish the Raiders the best as they move ahead in their schedule.

The Kilties are a competitive marching and musical organization. They accept male and female members of all ages in the areas of brass, percussion and color guard. More information about the Kilties can be found at www.kilties.com or by calling the Kilties at

(262) 634-2100. Major sponsors of the Kilties include the Racine Community Foundation, Scot Forge and AJ Wright.
