Calling on all Alumni

Last night the 2007 Crossmen kicked off their season with a preview of “Metamorphosis". There is much still to do but the corps is definitely headed in the right direction. Last night is just a continuation of what is a very special season for the drum corps.

This e-mail is a plea to any alumni who can find the time to give back to the corps in this time of need. We need more volunteers. We are desperately in need of volunteers to feed the corps for the follow dates.

Food Crew

We have only 2 volunteers we need 8 for:

June 18 – Broken Arrow

June 19 – Broken Arrow

June 20 – St. Louis, MO

Our next shortage is from 7/22 to 7/28 we have 4 volunteers.

July 22- Denton, TX

July 23 – Midland, TX

July 24 – Wichita Falls, TX

July 25 – Wichita Falls, TX

July 26 – Hutchinson, KS

July 27 – Hutchinson, KS

July 28 – Denver, CO

Our biggest need is from 7/29 to 8/5. We are down to 2 volunteers going into California.

July 29 – Denver, CO

July 30 – Ogden, UT

July 31 – Boise, ID

Aug 1 – Boise, ID

Aug 2 - Portland, OR

Aug 3 – Medford, CA

Aug 4 – Stanford, CA

Aug 5 – Clovis, CA

We need 8 volunteers on the food crew on the road to make it work.

Drivers

We need still need small vehicles drivers for the RV, Box Truck and Vollie Van for these dates:

June 17 - Dallas, TX

June 18 – Broken Arrow

June 19 – Broken Arrow

June 20 – St. Louis, MO

June 21 – Indy

June 22 – Indy

June 23 – Toledo, OH

June 24 – Belding, Mi

June 25 – Erie, PA

June 26 – Erie, PA

June 27 – Elizabeth, PA

June 28 – Elizabeth, PA

June 29 – Westminster, MD

If at all possible please consider volunteering somewhere during these dates/weeks. The drum corps really needs more volunteers. I cannot stress how important it is that the food service and transportation remains as seamless as possible.

You all have benefited from volunteers and you know how important having caring dedicated volunteers are to the corps, please consider helping out.

Please contact me at xmenvolunteers@aol.com or call me with any questions at all dealing with joining us on tour.

Thanks,

Rick Reedy
