danielray
Oh I know! The marching snare sound is HORRIBLE!!! You could use the Tapspace Virtual Drumline samples with it.
Michael Boo
You could use the Tapspace Virtual Drumline samples with it. Now those are absolutely awesome! Jim Casella's pulled off something truly spectacular. I wonder if any judges listening to the patches would pick up on the fact that they're listening partially to the line they're judging and partially to a classic Casella Santa Clara Vanguard line? LOL! My question on that one is. Couldn't he have found a really good BOA program or even a Drum Corps to demo that product? Part of what makes this look so low rent is the average band used and the fact that he is on the field with them. Go ask Broken Arrow to demo it and harness one of their kids on it instead of you. Credibility would sky rocket. This ^^^ just looks like a joke. Not trying to be mean to the band, but come on. If you want to sell a product, you use the very best to demo it. What great high school program would actually use that in their program? First.. can't work because of the phasing. Second, it looks like it belongs in the Thunderdome.

The phasing is eliminated by the addition of someone else on the field wearing one of these... to transmit the radio signals to this, on the side of the field... where it then is fed through this... then sent to four of these parked in strategic locations across the back of the stands where the audience sits... eliminating this... and making these people... do this.

bmjfelts1988
What great high school program would actually use that in their program?... None, but I'm sure if the price was right, Arrow, Avon, Carmel or any other such BOA Finalist would humor the guy and do a demo just for kicks (and pub)...
