Creating Corps News on the new DCPI Site

I've just posted a page on the new www.drumcorpsfantasy.com site that provides the details on how registered (and logged-in) DCPI Corps Directors can create Posts / news articles / blog entries for their Corps. The system is built on the popular Wordpress platform, so creating your content is quite easy.

If you have questions - post them in this thread and we'll try to answer them quickly.

First off I have been away awhile, of course working on corps stuff. WOW! Just want to say JohnD, very nice job on the new site!!

Matt - Question. I saw some posts on the new site for program announcements. Are we following the path of posting program announcements to the new site and other posts/discussions here?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ... when creating or editing a Post / article on the DCPI website, including your corps' listing - be sure to use the READ MORE button (located in the image below) on the toolbar to limit the amount of content that's shown on the listing page. Without this, we have the entire post show-up in what would otherwise be a nice, clean listing of all of the corps.

I've gone thru and fixed a number of these ... so please help me out and be sure to use this easy-to-use feature.
