WhiteWaterCavie
can someone tell me why the Cavaliers drumline has their harnesses painted differently <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Personality. They can only deco the top half of the harness... the bottom has to stay black. For example: Narita and Sekine - both marching this summer from Japan have japanese flags on their harnesses... as opposed to a student from Texas Christian University - who has TCU on his harness. LAMystreaux
I'm pretty sure thats the first time I've heard the most demanding drill in DCI being called "HO HUM".They could march easy stuff and come in 5th..... but that role is presently being filled by another Illinois corps. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice comeback. . .up your corps by talking down about another. The drill is demanding I agree. . .but they do use a ton of block formations.
LAMystreaux
Wow - the Cavies look so YOUNG! It becomes quite obvious when you see them out of uniform that their average age must be in the high school range.Phantom's kids look more like they're mostly college kids. If the Cavies are this good, this young, and can hang on to these kids, it's going to be hard to stop a DYNASTY from happening this decade (if we don't have one already) . . . <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That might happen, but that .075 lead last night says maybe we shouldn't speak so fast about a dynasty. I don't need to "up" my former corps.... but your alum should expect zingers themselves if they're going to dish it out and speak negatively about a corps they haven't beaten since June of 1998. After all, that's pretty much what I was saying? You could view it as negative, or FACT! The choice is yours. I guess if I want to up my corps, you can up yours too! Rocketman - pretty sure I got this thread closed ampssuck

Don't break down corps you can't compete with, in an attempt to bring up your own. Lets see some of the great Phantom technique... think this guy can come tech for the green machine to show us all how it's done? (see picture) the masters of technique

Sticks and feet Pick and interval Who wears short shorts All this bickering aside, I have no doubt the Cavies will go undefeated the season. Rocketman - no short shorts ampssuck

Rocketman - no short shorts ampssuck <{POST_SNAPBACK}> both of those snare shots are over 220BPM... something i'm fairly sure you've never marched... and only one in the first picture is ticking. Cavies don't preach "intervals and to guide".... less people to correct. My intention in this thread wasn't to break down other corps - i know first hand how hard they work... but I can't stand for people to chastize a corps who is clearly at the top of the activity right now... especially in a caption they outright OWN... marching. and Rocketman... we don't need to know about what pants you're not wearing in front of the computer. :sshh:
