TchMuzk Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 The White Sabers are proud to announce their 2012 Production: “From Death Till Dawn” Segment I- Awakening Danse Macabre- Camille Saint-Saens Dies Irae- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Segment II- The “Scene” Black Magic Woman- Peter Green & Carlos Santana Love Potion # 9- Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller Segment III- Lift your “Spirits” Moondance- Van Morrison Segment IV- Return To The Grave Danse Macabre- Camille Saint-Saens In 1874, Henri Cazalis wrote a poem about an old French superstition. According to legend, "Death" appears once a year at midnight and calls forth the dead from their graves to dance for him. His skeletons dance and play until the rooster crows at dawn, when they must return to their graves until the next year. The 2012 White Sabers will use music from several different genres to portray this legend. Show Coordinator, Ben Chaffee, said “I’m very excited about this show.
